Employment Tribunal Pricing Information
The total cost of defending an Employment Tribunal is not always easy to predict. It can range from in the region of £12,000 + VAT for a straightforward one day hearing, to in the region of £30,000 + VAT for more involved proceedings. In both instances disbursements are an additional cost.
If you do not have funding available, for example via business insurance, charges accrue based on our hourly standard rate of £210 + VAT (subject to increases from time to time).
We do not generally offer fixed fees in relation to Employment Tribunals but if you require this we are happy to discuss this with you. Likely disbursements include counsels fees, consultants fees, medical reports and other expert witnesses costs, travel and overnight accommodation if relevant.
Services
The Employment Tribunal pricing covers the following services:
- Liaising with and advising you
- Preparing documentation in accordance with tribunal orders and working with counsel where appropriate
- The key stages for an Employment Tribunal include compliance with initial limitation for submitting your defence then providing information and document creation (e.g. bundles) in accordance with case management orders in relation to interim and full hearings
- Work will be carried out and/or supervised by Jenna Hunter who qualified as solicitor in 2004 and has practised solely in Employment Law since then.
